towards becoming fully-qualified architects and we are pleased to launch the

Lecture: Effective Retrofit in Bath
Thursday 11th July, 6:30-8:30pm @ The Bath Royal Literary & Scientific Institution, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HN
An expert guide to improving the energy efficiency of traditional and listed homes
Sponsored by the RIBA and in association with Bath Green Homes and the Love Architecture Festival, Architect Rob Dunton, Quantity Surveyor Duncan Ball and Structural Engineer Margaret Cooke will be discussing how you can improve the energy efficiency of traditional and listed homes. Among other things, they will be discussing the challenges and opportunities of Bath’s buildings, simple ideas which work, or should be avoided, and what steps need to be made if you want to make a big difference to your energy costs.
This is a unique opportunity to hear discussions on this subject from architectural, structural and costing points of view, from three individuals who have extensive knowledge of the subject as well as working within the City and with traditional buildings. Questions will also be welcome at the end of the discussion if you have your own project which you are thinking of undertaking.
