Bristol is European Green Capital 2015, and the RIBA through the RIBA Bristol & Bath branch and partners are planning to be involved with a number of exciting events throughout this important year for the city. The Bristol Ideas Cafe is open to discuss, suggest, focus local ideas and energy into a cohesive programme that places the RIBA prominently for the city, for our members, and for our partners.
Ideas moving forward already include:
Bristol Harbourside Festival. Using the RIBA Architruck, a Green Architecture/Living hub within the UK's largest free festival. May feature exhibition, 'Green Tea with an Architect' advice centre, family activities (Design your own GreenHouse), film, 'how green is your city' consultation. We need more ideas and lots of support to cover 2.5 days!
#MakingSundaysSpecial. Placing the RIBA and our members withinn the UK's largest free street festival over 6 Sundays between May and October 2015. Ideas required, though could include 'Studio in the Street' from city-based architectural practices?
What ideas do you have? What could you contribute to 2015? How can we help you?
The Bristol Ideas Cafe: Green Capital Special is open, and we need you and your creativity. Please share with colleagues and partners who may or may not be RIBA members
