Author of Bristol's 100 Best Buildings and An Architectural History of Bristol, Mike Jenner gives us his thoughts on the pendulum of fashion within architecture. Using case studies and anecdotes he explores how different generations have a love-hate relationship with buildings and styles that have defined Bristol's development into a modern city.This lecture is part of the Love Architecture festival (15 - 24 June), and is a partnership event between RIBA and The Architecture Centre.

What Makes a Sustainable Building - By Craig White



Craig White (White Design) talked about the distinctions between Zero Carbon, Low Energy and Passivhaus buildings to a sell out audience and guided us through the process of designing a sustainable building from scratch.
The event was held at Bristol's YHA on the 11th June 2012 as a Fringe event to Bristol's Big Green Week and Love Architecture Festival.
